Kung Fu

Hung Choy Chang Fa

Kung Fu can be described as the 'thinking-man's' martial art. Patterns of movements based on animal fighting styles (Snake, Tiger, Crane, Leopard & Mantis) are taught to deal with multiple attacks from all directions.

Kung Fu has all the components of Kickboxing (boxing & kicking, pad work drills, fitness & sparring) but is called San Shou which is similar to MMA without as much time spent on the ground and with differences in delivery of technique.

Chin Nai has same concepts of Jiu Jitsu self defence escaping grabs, applying locks and joint attacks.

Weapons training includes:

  • Nunckuca
  • Staff (6ft pole)
  • Short stick
  • Knife defences

Kung Fu is suitable from age 4 and over.
